Promoting respect for the law includes programs on local and national issues, provided by professionals. Past presenters have included district circuit judges, patrolmen, detectives, legislators and our local sheriff. 
   Members arrange for speakers and report information regarding new issues or changes that may affect our community.
  In May our Club participates with Optimist International in recognizing a special week to show respect for the law. Our Club honors a citizen who has demonstrated exceptional efforts to advance respect.
