Birthdays and Anniversaries: Zack Boots has a birthday on the 14th, happy birthday Zack and Joe Sestak has an anniversary this week. Happy anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Sestak.

Water, Whiskey and Hogs 1.5 mile hike through Rock Bridge Memorial State Park Sat 9/15/2007 from 1-4pm. Join a park naturalist, on a hike through the remains of the 19th and early 20th century town of Rock Bridge Mill. What do water, whiskey and hogs have in common? Find out as you listen to the story of how a small 19th century distillery grew into the second largest producer of whiskey in Missouri, and how it gave rise to the 19th century community of Rockbridge Mills, located in what is now the park. Join a park naturalist on a 1.5-mile hike through the ruins of the community, including that of a southern-style mansion house, grain silos, a spring house, an old store, and wagon tracks embedded in stone. Visit the entrance to Hogs Graveyard Cave and learn how it got its name. You will also learn how issues from long ago still impact us today. Recommended ages 13 to adult. Reservations are required,
