Pat Brown rang the bell at approx. 12:09 pm.  Dollie Stoerker-Peters gave  the invocation.  Max Miller led the Pledge of Allegiance.  We had three (3) guests: Denise Payne (guest of BO who turned in her application for membership), Rhett Brengarth (guest of Red), and Wes Leighton (guest of Red).  Welcome to the guest and especially "Denise Payne".

The mystery person was "Greg Schneider".  The greeter was "Ryan Garrett".

The following announcements were as follows:
1  Valerie- Jewelry Fund Raiser -- Party will be on April 12th at the Clubhouse,between 5:00-7:15pm.  Please come and see if some of the items will make your someone special adore you!
2. Christine McGraw- Flower Bulb Fund Raiser- Please see Christine immediately with
your order as time is running out,
3. Al Buchanan- This Day with Wildlife is SUNDAY....need volunteers for this great event.
4.  4/15 & 4/16- Quarterly District Meeting at Crown Plaza, St. Louis ..please make plans to attend.

PROGRAM

The guest speaker, Rodney M. Loesch, CFP,  delighted the audience with his magic tricks. He also shared some valuable information on finances. Thanks again, Rodney!

Pat Brown, President, rang the bell at 12:12pm.  “BO” gave the invocation.  Carol Irish led the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Guest included “Kevin Quinn”, “Linda Green”, “Clemmte Lawson”. 

Meredith Donaldson was the mystery person and picked the eighth person she shook hands for a free lunch. 

Steve Henderson has his usual funny jokes which made the audience laugh.  

The announcements were as follows:
1. Need people to stay after meeting on 3/28 to evaluate Scholarship Applications and select recipients from High School,
2. Board Meeting was held on Thursday, March 17, 
3. E. MO. District Meeting 4/15 & 4/16, 
4. Flower Bulb Fund Raiser still in process……need help in selling flowers, 
5. New Club in Centralia-meeting being held on 3/28 at 7pm at the Civic Center in Centralia.
6. This Day in Wildlife 4/3,
7. Valerie- need Photo’s of members for brochue and web.
8. Jake- Golf Tourment for Central MO Food Bank-board approved for five teams

There eight (8) new members installed today.  Congratulations to all new members who have committed to serve the kids in Columbia/Boone Cty.

The program was presented by Tiffany Bowmen and Sally Reeves of the Boone County  Coalition for Tobacco Concerns.  The Coalition is trying to obtain all bars and restaurants to be ‘smoke-free”.

The announcements included the following: Board Meeting on Thursday,

3/17, New Membership Induction 3/21, Flower Bulb Fund Raiser (Please use catalogs to give to people), Winners will be declared on April 4th for Essay Winners, 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, This Day in Wildlife-please sign up to help with this great project ( need help sitting up April 15th)(need 4 foot fences), Upcoming Events include Bicycle Safety and Air Show in May-Soap Box and OI Golf Tournament in June.

Happy Birthday to "Steve Klein" and many more, Steve 

A Great Program was presented by the "Highsteppers Drill Team" who leaders are Rolondo Berry and Blind Boone?. The group puts on fifty (50) show per year, have programs in several schools. The Program installs Discipline, Dedication, Team Work in the participates. The Highsteppers put on a great program that was impressive. Good Luck Highsteppers!!

Guests were: Sandy Freese, Darren Freese, Rolando Barry & Michelle Wheeler.

Mystery Person was Spence Turner and Ed Hampton won the free lunch.........

Tail Twister was Steve Henderson with jokes on: Hare on Chest and Elvis....

Announcements were
1. This Day in Wildlife (need workers)
2. Regional Oratorical Contest (need some people to attend. Jake Jolly volunteered.need more people. 3.Bicycle Safety in April.
4. Memorial Day..
5.Sale Flower bulbs Fund (Note: turn in orders by April 15).

Birthdays: Ron Miller 3/10, Cindy Neff 3/10, Jerry Browning 3/11, Jess Weaver 3/13.  Congrats!

Greeter was: Lorenzo Lawson who is native of Columbia, graduate of Hickman and University of Missouri-St. Louis.  He is presently Executive Director of Youth Empowerment for "At Risk" Youth.

Program speaker was Patrick Lee who is an author, actor, public speaker, married with four (4) children plus two (2) foster children and lives on a 30 acre estate with pet animals.  Mr. Lee impersonates "Lewis & Clark", "Thomas Jefferson", and "Daniel Boone". He also just published a new book on Lewis and Clark.
