2003 Annual Meeting and Awards Program Monday, September 29, 2003 ~ Dulany Hall on the Columbia College Campus
	Assisting with today's presentations is Ed Hampton, past president, 1969-70 and the 2002 President's Appreciation Awardee.	Thanks to Ameriserve for their tireless efforts, great food and super service this past year - and especially for the chicken livers and every dessert that has had chocolate! Thanks, Charles!
	Dennis Funk has seen to it that our banners were displayed weekly. As a token of appreciation, he was presented with his own banner!	Marilyn Bohanan, you have honored us by NOT revealing our ages! And, for the inquiring minds that need to know, December 7th is her birthday!  For this we say, THANK YOU, with this candle, just for you.
	Connie Howe. Each month you have faithfully recruited members to help at the Central Missouri Food Bank. Even when you were on vacation you got the job done! As a token of our appreciation, here is a box of food for you– that you don’t have to wrap up!	Steve Henderson, you have made us laugh, even when you were in pain. In addition, you regularly asked members to participate in our programs and on your own, obtained numerous donations for our benefit. For the serious optimism you’ve brought each week, we present you with this copy of Walking with the Wise.
	Al Buchanan prepared an entire CPA book on the “Day with Wildlife” Program.  He even donated his own book cover for the entry!  As a token of our appreciation and in return for your ‘donation’, here is a new book cover!	Kerry Bramon served as our Scholarship Chair this year and he has for the past several years. Our Club has been fortunate to have a sharp chairman for this project, so Kerry, here’s your very own sharpener!   It’s not electric. It needs a sharp operator to make it work!
	Jay Creasy, a wheeler and dealer, has served the Club as chairman of our Bike Safety Committee.  We appreciate your volunteering and for keeping us pumped on safety for kids, we’d like to present you with this portable pump!	Tim Elliott chaired the Junior Golf Championships for the entire East Missouri District! As a token of your service, here’s a kit of golf accessories you can use the next time you play a round – just be careful if Red asks to play with you!!
	Max Miller & Jess Weaver. The Club’s Social Masters! When these two get hungry, we all benefit!  Thanks for putting together a super cookout last week. Please accept these chef’s aprons as a token of appreciation from all of us!	Ed Hampton & Al Jones accepted appointment as co-chairs of the Clubhouse Committee, and have regularly been checking the Clubhouse and arranging for routine maintenance. As a thank here is a lanyard key chain.
